Sabine Parish Reviews
I live in a "bible belt," and my town is so small it's literally called a village. My family does not lock the doors at night or their cars when they get out, because there is no need to. I know all my neighbors and every single road in and out of my tiny town. It's safe, Christian, place, however I hate living here. There is only one traffic light in my village and only a couple of gas stations. This is rather depressing, because I am a traveler and I also enjoy going to the movies and bowling. A trip to the mall or to my doctor's office is about an hour-half drive and to the "local" theater is about thirty minutes, luckily it only takes me about fifteen minutes to go to my job, which is at the "local" grocery store a couple towns over. I am deprived educationally for my school can barely have enough classes to graduate us legally through the state requirements of credits.
There isn't any crime in my tiny town. The worst thing to happen in probably the past 5 years was a fire in some field that might have harmed an animal, which does that even count? I see the police along the roads awaiting to pull over the common speeder or at a local gas station talking to the town's people. I don't really have any concerns of my or other's safety in my village. However, it would be nice to have street lights on all the roads and sidewalks.
It's a pretty well rounded area, no big complaints.
