Moved here from Georgia and it’s so much better. People are more friendly, and everything is closer than back in Georgia. I can’t forget to mention safer! The police departments are well funded and seem to want to do good. The high schools are big and well funded as well as the elementary and middle schools.

Smallest county in the state, along with the richest. Rockwall's geographical location is awesome, the town is located on top a hill. There is primarily shopping going on here. Tons of different places to eat, so if you're a foodie...you'll be heaven. The harbor district is ok, the Cinemark is a bit over priced, but what movie theater isn't?! Lake Ray Hubbard is also a site to see. A man made lake with a lot of heritage. Currently there is a lot of construction going on, so the travel time is a little higher. Other than that, Rockwall is actually an awesome place to be. Nice people, history, and community .
I moved to Rockwall when I was in 6th from Mesquite. I had no idea what to expect here, but attending the schools here, I have met some life long friends that I never had in Mesquite. Rockwall is where I decided to join band, which is another place that I found some of my closest friends. Rockwall has that small town feel that I like, but it's a lot bigger than it looks since it's growing at very rapid rate. When I developed my passion for cars when I was 16, Rockwall has a large car enthusiast community that I'm able to be part of. Rockwall has a great police force as well as the fire department and EMT. There are plenty of parks here and houses from the late 19th century and early 20th century that adds that connection to nature and history.
