I've lived in this area most of my life. The neighborhoods are well taken care of, the crime rate is low to average, and the schools are all very good. It's an area with people from every walk of life, who will more than likely greet you with a smile wherever you go. While there are many things to do and places to go, the nightlife and entertainment industries here could use a boost. Cost of living is the highlight of this area, however. The real estate is beautiful, and you can get a nice home for a fraction of what you'd pay in most cities. This is also a wonderful place to raise a family, as there are many places that cater to children, and plenty of kids' clubs and activities to choose from, especially when it comes to sports. Overall, I really enjoy living here and raising my son here!

If I had my choice I would want to live in a big city. Amarillo is great but it is not for me. Compared to other cities in America, it is small and it does not have all the abilities that many other big cities do. I think that Amarillo is growing and maybe will end up better in a couple of years but right now I feel that it needs a lot of improvements.
This area is beautiful in its own sense. Gorgeous sunsets! The people here are very conservative.
