Beautiful lakes. There are a lot of hiking trails and outdoor activities offered here that won't break the bank. Very close to downtown Clayton, which has beautiful and unique stores, delicious restaurants, and friendly people. There are numerous wineries around that have extremely friendly staff and amazing views! There is always something to do around here and the people here are wonderful!

I love my home in the mountains of Rabun County. While it may be a small town, there always seems to be an influx of people to visit the mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and lakes.
Rabun County has been my home for more than 7 years now. After moving from Arkansas, it was easy for me to fall into a routine in Rabun County, making new friends, finding a job, finding extra curricular activities to do and much more. If there is anything that I would like to see changed in Rabun, it would be the expansion of activities for underage kids to keep them out of trouble whether it be after school or during the summer.
