Prince William County Reviews

Prince William County is a well populated county in northern Virginia. Prince William County Schools are rated well, although not as well as some other localities in the area. Housing can be expensive, but there is a variety of housing opportunities. There are several local parks that offer good recreation. Old town Manassas and Occoquan are also great places to visit.
I've lived here all my life, it's alright I guess. I really have nothing else to compare it to. The noise kinda sucks though cause all the time, you can hear helicopters and all sorts of things flying overhead. Also, you can feel the nearby military base whenever they start bombing and it freaks me out every time so that's a thing. But even so, it could be worse. Although since we are so close to DC, going anywhere sucks because you never know when there will be an accident and the whole area will be backed up. I gets so ridiculous sometimes and also the drivers around here are crazy. Everyone thinks that they have to speed their way to everywhere at once and it was difficult learning to drive here because of that. The weather is somewhat nice here, sometimes. It could be 80 one day and then immediately go straight to low thirties which is completely wild. This area is not good but is definitely better than like New York or Los Angeles for sure. I like it here, though.
I have lived in this county for about 14 years. The board of supervisors really care about the students, the schools, and the cities within the county! They constantly update residents of issues that arise or fun local events that occur. PWCS is one of the best counties in Virginia!
