I have lived here my entire life and it hasn't been too bad. It's an enormous county that focus' on education. When i was growing up, it was a suburban city just 30 minutes from the nations capital. Now, its growing rapidly with new building going up every year. This has caused a lot of traffic and road work which gets very aggravating since this is a busy place. Overall, I believe this is a safe and peaceful area to grow up in. However, there are not many attractions here so many fun activities require traveling a half hour or so on the interstate.

I have been in Prince William over 14 years! I have seen a lot of development. Many people choose Prince William because of the location. Many have an easy commute to Washington DC.
I enjoyed the public schools here as the ones I attended are considered some of the best here in VA and the majority of people here tended to be a bit more liberal than conservative here proven through the recent gubernatorial election. I never once feared for my life and always had a decent amount of things to do in the area. Many people here are very competitive when it comes to sports and living a healthy lifestyle which is a positive thing. In the county I have met a diverse amount of people coming from all different backgrounds and cultures. I have lived a comfortable, suburban life here and would recommend it to others.
