Pitt County Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 6 reviews
A college town, there are parts of the city that reflect that but there are more generally family-friendly parts of the city as well. ECU sometimes has a party reputation but they also have a good education program and this is reflected across the community.
Pitt County is a growing community and Greenville is the most populated city in the area. If your looking for a nice community it’s a nice place to live, but keep in mind you will not get the luxurious lifestyle like Charlotte.
Pitt County is a small community with a southern country feel. The community supports local events and is a great place for retirement or if you are in the market for living in a small community. There are not many opportunities for adults to go out on the town. There are the same duplications of restaurants throughout the town and not enough adult restaurants and activities. In addition, there are limited opportunities for children to engage in outside of school sports and academic clubs in school.
Pitt County seems to be a safe place to live and enjoy small scale family activities. There are many family events and community events held yearly. Economically, however, it is not the best place to live because of lower pay in the majority of the occupations in the area.
