I love the county of Pickens! It is a nice, quiet place for people of all ages to reside. There are so many beautiful places. From the Botanical Gardens in Clemson, to the beautiful mountains and lakes. There is barely any crime where I stay so it is perfect for people with kids, and also for people with pets. I love the county of Pickens! There is always so much to do!

I love the small town atmosphere however, that is not always good when it comes to leaders of our school systems. It is very political and people are out for there pocket no matter the cost to the students.
I live in Pickens County SC and I love it! I like that I can drive to Easley and shop and eat out but then I can also drive up to the mountains and enjoy peace and quiet with nature. The roads could use some improvement but overall it is a great county of small towns.
