Perry County Reviews

Love the community aspect of the county. People come together and help each other out. Just wish there was more to do within the county and less of a commute to get to some fun activities that are not in Perry County. Great if you love the country!
I think Perry county Is a very good down to earth community. Everyone knows everyone. Its a great place for people with families, I think. You don't have to worry about them. The downside is You have to drive an hour to the nearest WALMART! And to me that's ridiculous. There aren't many restaurants there all across the river unless you like diners we've got plenty of those. Honestly, it gets really boring here. Again its safe but there isn't much to do. On the other hand, everyone is very down to earth. The only problem with our community is the racism. It's sad I would recommend not coming here if you are a person of color. Other than that were safe and Republican made!
I moved to Perry County from Lehigh County 6 years ago. It is a huge change in environment going from a diverse city to an isolate rural area. I miss being so close to stores and restaurants. I also miss being able to go outside and socialize with neighbors. Where I live now, you have to take a decent 30 minute drive at least to get anywhere. All of the major stores and restaurants are over the mountain. I do have to admit, it is pretty nice out here at night. There is such a beautiful clear vision of the sky and the stars. It is perfect to be able to camp out in your backyard and have a little bonfire and look at the stars. That is one thing you couldn't do back where I used to live.
