Paulding County Reviews
Rating 3.64 out of 5 86 reviews
Paulding County is a town that I have enjoyed watching grow over the years. It's a small old railroad town that truly came together in the time of COVID. The people here are what truly make the difference, and it's evident when you go shopping, walking around downtown, or going out for dinner with the family. It's a safe, affordable place with good schools. There may not be a whole lot to do here, but it's close proximity to Atlanta, Kennesaw, and Marietta make up for that. If the city isn't quite your thing we are still close enough to TONS of hiking/outdoor places like Red Top Mountain, Sweet Water Creek and Kennesaw Mountain! You can't go wrong with Paulding County!
I have lived in Paulding County for approximately 46 years. I have observed many changes in that time. It has changed from a very rural community to a busy metropolitan community of Atlanta. It has been in the top 10 fastest growing communities for many years. Most of that growth has been residential. There are several parks, for outdoor recreation, and we have the Silver Comet trail, which crosses through the entire county and through neighboring counties, and in to Alabama. The trail in paved and is excellent for walking, running and biking. There has also been a great increase in business, and educational growth. The county is a wonderful place to raise a family and is a quite diverse community.
The area itself is mostly land. Whenever you’re looking for something to do other than grocery shopping you’re more than likely going to travel to cobb county or marietta.
