It's a beautiful area with river views and a quaint downtown. The downtown area is starting to get become more lively. However, I wish there was at least one healthy plant-based restaurant.

Pasquotank County is a very nice are to live an raise children but can use some much needed improvements. I think that the public school systems for K-4 to K-6 and up, needs some serious improvements. Children within these groups do not have ample text books ans students never bring home any home work or class work so that parents can stay on top of an their children and closely learn what their child's needs are. I think the cost of living can be high especially for single woman with children who are trying to work and school consecutively. Job opportunities are very scarce and non-existent people in their 30 to 40 because the jobs are take before students finish their degrees, or just want to wok in the area will they complete their program. Overall, its a good city, but could be made a lot better if some of these issues are addressed.
