From modern to historical, Orange County has got is all! Orange county is home to one of the well known missions, San Juan Capistrano, bringing all sorts of people down to the region to become acquainted with the history of our lovely state. Moreover, Orange County spans along a cost with beautiful scenic beaches, such as Corona Del Mar and Thousand Steps. The food is outstoudning, with a variety of options from all over the world.
Orange County is a beautiful city with many things to do throughout the day. Orange County has a few popular amusement parks Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm which are both family-friendly. Orange County also has many great public schools that take education as their first priority. Orange County is also near the middle bottom of Socal which makes it great to travel anywhere going towards Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Fransisco, and San Diego. Orange County is a great place to live at if you have a family or even live alone!
I am not the biggest fan of Orange County. Everything is very spread out and generally inaccessible without a car. There are walkable areas, but no walkable cities. Public Transportation is dirty, late, and unreliable. The house-less population is treated very poorly. My political ideology does not align with a good amount of people within my city. There is a lot of bigotry and ignorance in my surrounding areas. Individualism is favored over community. There are few public recreational gathering places like parks. There is far too much cement. There are way too many cars, freeways, and parking lots. Cities are built right up to the edge of beaches. Some beaches are private, and I am very against buying and hoarding nature. Some beaches are dirty and polluted. There are huge areas of land that are taken up by industrial buildings. The area around Disneyland has been pushed around and uninvested in. The socioeconomic stratification is far too visible, and the rich revel in it.
