Ogemaw County Reviews

1 review
If you're looking to retire in the countryside, this place is perfect. Wildlife runs rampant, especially deer. Ogemaw is a great spot for hunters and farmers alike, as most of the land is either dense forest or vast farmland. There are also a lot of lakes, which is perfect for those who want a lakefront cottage where you can swim. However, there aren't many big towns here, with the two biggest ones I can name being Rose City and West Branch. West Branch has a few grocery stores, a mall, and a few bars that serve great food. However, many of the roads are gravel, which can get muddy in the spring. The winters are freezing, and there is always the chance of pipes bursting, but as long as you drain the pipes before locking up for the season and have a handyman around, you should be okay!
