My experience living in Northampton County is being able to see the beautiful countryside, explore nature, hike on the Appalachian Mountains , meet many friendly people, and enjoy many outdoor activities such as swimming, rafting, hiking, fishing, boating in the Delaware River, and skiing/snowboarding at the Blue Mountain Resort. One unique thing about Northampton County is the Hugh Moore Park and the National Canal Museum. If you’re looking to visit the Crayola Factory you can also find that in Northampton County where you can interact with so many fun activities and put your art and creativity in.
I have been growing up around Northampton for my whole life, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. There are many fine establishments I like to go to for all my needs, and many familiar faces I have grown very close to. There is always something new to see here and it is a very calm and peaceful place. If I could, I would stay in Northampton County for the rest of my life.
I loved growing up and living in Northampton County. Specifically, I lived in Bethlehem, and have grown to appreciate it more and more as I have grown up, and moved away for college. The entire county has such great diversity, which is what I appreciate the most. Going to a large public high school prepared me immensely for the world for once I left. Pennsylvania is a great state, and I believe that although our area is sometimes referred to as "a suburb of nowhere"... I believe that it is an amazing and autonomous oasis of diversity, great schools, booming real estate, and plenty of career opportunities.
