I am a current resident of Northampton and I quite enjoy the area. I attended Northampton Area high School for 2 years and I found the school different. Everyone already has their own group that they hand out with but they are not fond of other people joining that group. The Nightlife is very safe and quiet, nothing really happens there. The homes can range from a small town house to a half a million dollar house. The homes and apartments there a averagely affordable and the places to go (Ex. The Roxy movie theater) are reasonably priced. Since Northampton is a big area the commute to work can range from right down the road to half way across the county. The only problem is that the roads can be very bad at some spots and it can mess up your rims.

I have grew in Northampton county for 12 years, it is a very nice a place to live. Schools are great. There are many things to do in the area such as nice trails, good places to eat and fun events through out the year. Wouldn't wanna live anywhere else!
In Northampton, it is a very safe and friendly environment. The public school provides a strong education and the students and staff are very supportive of the decisions that you make. There are plenty of activities to do as well inside the town. For example, there are public tennis courts, basketball courts, a rec center, and nice trails for runners and bikers. The high school has recently added two new turf fields for soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, and football. The people in the town are supportive of all the school activities that happen throughout the town. In my opinion, Northampton is one of the best places to be if you are looking for a local area with many activities to stay active and be safe.
