I left New Hanover County there was alot of drugs and crime! Downtown is nice but watch out for the outskirts. I would never go back!

Nice little county on the beach, good people and good public schools... On negatives are the traffic, taxes and job availablility
Overall the schools are excellent for the area. A lot of rural surrounding areas are not as strong in teacher's and curriculum.
