I've lived here almost my entire life and it's gone downhill. It's nonstop car accidents, traffic, and increased crime rates. I would not recommend walking alone in certain areas and be prepared for traffic nightmares as well a nonstop construction and road closures! It's a shame because New Castle County is a really nice suburban area, but it's just not worth living here anymore.

New Castle County is located close to other major cities. Philadelphia, Baltimore, etc. Has a Farmers Market that opens Friday- Sunday. Also, New Castle, Delaware is only 20 mins from Cowtown! Delaware doesn't have any sale tax! Just a few good things.
I grew up in New Castle County, and still live there now. It is an entirely affordable area with lots of public school choices. There is ample shopping centers with grocery stores and the Christiana Mall is nearby, too. Tax free shopping!
