Muskegon County is very welcoming! We may be small but we are making great advances. Our slogan is Watch mUSkeGOn! The one thing I wish to improve is cleaner highways and beaches. But I know we are working on it! Even my school has yearly beach and highway cleanups. If anyone is visiting Muskegon, they will experience the loving, welcoming, and tight community we have!

Living this close to Lake Michigan is a gift. Driving along the lake shore as part of a ride home from work is a relaxing wind down from a busy day. It sets the mood for how the rest of your evening will go and helps you recharge in order to be there to help the rest of your family to manage through the remainder of their day.

It is also a wonderful place to visit when the family has some down time. The sand and the beach are amazing. Even if you live close, it still feels like a faraway vacation when the family spends the day at the beach. It is clean and well cared for. The local law enforcement as well as local vendors make the experience a grand one.
Muskegon county is a good place over all, but there are a few things that could be fixed. The roads are a little rundown and trashed and there could be more safety. There are many times a year where I feel unsafe and if there is a way to fix that I feel like Muskegon county would be a more popular and more friendly place. Also, to make this place more popular there should be more things to do around town besides going out to eat at a restaurant and bowling, maybe there could be more variety added.
