Morgan County Georgia has lots to offer for travelers and country goers. Madison is the county seat and has hosted numerous Hollywood movies. It is full of antique stores, eateries, and antebellum homes. There is always an activity or event going in whether it is tour of homes, car shows, music festivals in the park or horse and buggy rides. Madison is wonderful for all ages.
There are three restaurants that I can think of that serve alcoholic beverages in the area; Amici, Town 220, and The Chophouse. These happen to be (in my opinion) the top three places to dine in the area. Town 220 is pricey though. Chophouse and Amici are less expensive than Town 220 but if you aren't mindful you can easily rack up a pricey bill. There is no nightlife because everything closes between 9 and 11PM. There are absolutely no clubs in this town. You have to drive a minimum of maybe 25 minutes to get to a club. If you want some great homemade pizza Amici is the place to go!
