I love the accessibility of many State Parks, skiing areas within a close distance, hiking and biking. It’s a small town with a small town feel, but has everything you need. The people in town always have a smile, and are always ready to chat or lend a hand. Friendly place to go any time of year!
Montrose county is a great place for both raising a family and for retirement. There's a small city feel and there's a lot of outdoor activities right next door. I wish there were more things for the teen population to do, but for small children and adults, this place is great!
Montrose is a growing small town, still a very homey place to live. A great place to raise a family. School are very accommodating. The activities are very high if you are an outdoorsy type of person. The shopping experience is growing every year. I’m excited to see all the new changes the town is bringing in the future.
