My experience with the Montgomery County is at a low rate. While the cost of living is rated at an A, the crime, education, and livability outweigh the low prices. The crime has been at a high rate for years now, with no luck of getting the percentage down. While there are good schools in the area, school funding comes at a low outcome. School activities have to be limited because there are a low amount of school funds available. Over the years, companies and businesses have upped and left the Dayton area, and on to other livable and business promoting areas. To get groceries, depending on where you're at, the drive will be a lengthy distance. Normal stores and Pharmacies at certain areas are closing down, leaving behind people that's in need. My personal experience, it's been alright. I can't complain like others can.Things that I would change about the area is the number of resources available, amount of jobs, and education funding,
Montgomery County has some great parks, restaurants, and activities to do. I would like to see the county cleaned up and more initiative to promote a clean and sustainable environment.
The community is extremely family friendly. There are many parks, and the local public and private schools are very strong. At no point during my time in the community have I felt serious concern for my safety.
