the place is very clean and friendly. Everyone helps out people even to strangers. One time I was late to school and asked my neighbor to drive me to school and he quickly agreed. there was no hesitant in him which made me happy. I just wish the school tax would go down because it's very expensive here.
Monroe County contains a relatively wide range of towns, ranging from Pittsford to Greece to Honeoye Falls. These towns allow for a mix of more rural land to more urban living towards the city of Rochester. Travel throughout the county is relatively easy, though there is not a great deal of public transportation available.
I like living in Monroe County. It has nice libraries and schools. It is really pretty in the fall months with all the changing leaves. It does get very cold in winter and the summer is not that hot. It rains a lot. The flowers are pretty and there are lots of options of places to go to eat.
I think Rochester is a beautiful city but our poverty rate is on the lowest in the country. I think that needs to be worked on. I feel as being a 24 year old, there isn’t must to do here. We need more fun adventurous places to go to have fun. I think we need more jobs for people and we need our mayor and governor to do more about violence.
Monroe country is very diverse. I like that i live in a rural area and have a city so close to my home. Rochester is a very art focus city and there is many things to do and see. I take pride in my community
Great town to walk and go to stores and movies it's a great place it's safe there's a park there's store there's more stores. Many stores
I love living in Monroe! There are so many diverse places to dine in such as the local diner, there's mutiple Chinese/ Japanese restaurants, along with Mexican, Italian, and even American restaurants! The community overall is very safe and police are constantly around to secure that safety. It is a very close knit community with a clear understanding of how to better the community through a lot of interaction with the people. There are many places for children, teens, adolescents, and seniors to have a fun at. The education at the school district is exquisite. My family moved here just for that reason! However, although there are many dining areas, there are not many places in which the youth can enjoy activities such as bowling, or ice rinks, which would help a lot of kids move around more.
Monroe County in upstate New York is a fantastic place to raise a family. The balance between family life and work can be slightly unbalanced due to long commute times. Many residents choose to commute to the city for larger paychecks and better work opportunities. This enables them to live a more comfortable life at home, however, it does take a big chunk out of their day due to commuting time. The scenic environment is simply breathtaking, and the natural occurring wildlife makes Monroe tranquil and inviting.
