I think that Miami-Dade County main attribute is it's diversity in cultures. With it's diverse cultures it brings an abundance of areas with restaurants, museums, parks, and cities. Miami-Dade county also has a lot of cities like Miami Beach. Miami Beach is a traditional metropolitan setting, and while it is a small neighborhood, there are many different types of establishments there, like clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, retail centers, and apartments. Key Biscayne is another city in Miami-Dade County very close to the beach. It is a luxurious residential Miami area.
The crashing of the waves, the beeping of cars honking, the fast rhythm of Latin music, the chirps of birds, the sways of palm trees, and the voices of many different languages are all sounds that I have heard here in Miami. I have been living in Miami-Dade County for the past 15 years and I can tell you that the whole county is not exactly the same, but there is one major thing that is similar all round the county, the saying of the words "Only In Dade." Residents of Dade County are all proud to be living here because of all the diversity and love they each have in their neighborhoods. A person from West Kendall may not know how it is to live in Hialeah, but we all work together to make Miami-Dade the best it can be. I can absolutely point out that the public transportation system here is not the best, but people find a way to manage. However, Public Transportation is a hub of all culture exchanges and improving it should be a priority for local and state officials. We need change!
This is a great county from my perspective, as long as you don't live in the suburbs and work downtown. If that is the case, the traffic getting to work would be horrendous. Other than that, my school is one of the best in the county, and one of the cleanest, and I am proud of that. There are many job opportunities as well; places open by my house that I would never have known about prior, and getting jobs is easy there too. The people are very nice and friendly to new faces as well. All in all, it can be a great place to live!
