The crashing of the waves, the beeping of cars honking, the fast rhythm of Latin music, the chirps of birds, the sways of palm trees, and the voices of many different languages are all sounds that I have heard here in Miami. I have been living in Miami-Dade County for the past 15 years and I can tell you that the whole county is not exactly the same, but there is one major thing that is similar all round the county, the saying of the words "Only In Dade." Residents of Dade County are all proud to be living here because of all the diversity and love they each have in their neighborhoods. A person from West Kendall may not know how it is to live in Hialeah, but we all work together to make Miami-Dade the best it can be. I can absolutely point out that the public transportation system here is not the best, but people find a way to manage. However, Public Transportation is a hub of all culture exchanges and improving it should be a priority for local and state officials. We need change!

Miami is thriving and is built on a clash of cultures that has given birth to a culture of its own. All places are unique, yes but the city and surrounding area are truly its own species. The food, the music, the fashion all play into the city and influence pop culture and the way of life. Tastes of the Caribbean and Latin American countries give flavor to the local and neighborhood kitchens and high-end restaurants in Miami Beach or downtown Brickel. The fashion presence and street attitude evolve into a completely one of a kind experience for anyone who entries this city. People, it's the people of the city that makes it special, form the stories as to how and why they are here in the first place to the kindness in their heart and the toughness in their spirit. I love Miami. The people are the ones who won my heart but the city is where they live. we have the ocean and plenty of fresh fish to eat so make sure to come with a hungry stomach, Cheers!
I have lived in Miami-Dade County my entire life. I can say with certainty that it's a safe place to live with lots to do as well! All of the parks are maintained well, frequently offering free classes to the public such as yoga. I have personally worked with the parks doing these classes and it's always a delight to do so. I'm a proud resident of Miami-Dade County and look forward to spending my life in this lovely place. Depending on where you are within the county, traffic can vary. But, it's never a daunting task to take a ride.
