Clarksville Virginia has its ups and downs, the scenery here is gorgeous being one of Virginia's lakeside towns. However, the schools were built in the 1950s and need to be replaced; the local government needs some tweaks to benefit the majority of the population, but overall a great place to relax and enjoy the nature around you. Being a teen it is hard to be 45 minutes from the nearest major store (Walmart, Target, etc) so I am definitely ready to live in a more metropolitan area. This area is very poor from a monetary perspective, and it is very hard to start a small business because of high taxes, so the future here will not be bright unless changes are made. That being said, this is a wonderful place to raise children and there is a very tightly knit community here. I would choose to live here if I had to do it over again, but I am ready to move somewhere different.

As a young adult, I have been living in mecklenburg County all of my life. But as I becomed older, I would like to see more jobs become available for the community. Also, for the schools to be more socialable.
The police officers are very friendly and respond very quickly when needed. There are places in this area you don't go down at night, but downtown everything is lit. Not much to worry about when it comes to safety.
