I’ve been here about 2 years now. It’s diverse and there’s a lot to do! People are generally nice enough, however, it’s competitive business-wise and people tend to have a superficial charm.

I love living in Mecklenburg County! My family and I live very close to the University, Northlake and Concord area and because of that, it is close to a lot of great shopping areas, grocery stores, restaurants, and churches. I haven't had much experience with the school situations but I know that there are some large public and private schools nearby.
Since I moved to Charlotte 10 years ago, I have moved quite often and have noticed a great deal of differences. There are more neighborhoods and shopping centers. Places that used to be natural woods and nature are now lined with buildings and construction sites. It’s been pretty alright.
