Maricopa is a small place which has not been a long time since it was discovered. Maricopa is a cheap and safe place to live in, there are not many job opportunity, but things are changing and getting better and I believe in a couple more year, Maricopa will be known and heard, but if you are the kind of person who likes their alone time, then for now, Maricopa is just the place for you.

This area has a good atmosphere, and Litchfield park is a nice place to live in. The houses and streets in my city are nice, and I feel safe in the part I live in. I was originally born in California and it is a nice place to live there too but that state is really expensive to live in. Education wise California is much better, there is a higher education budget, and better schools. One of the best schools in the US is in California which is Stanford. If I could do it all over I would choose Arizona because it is also a nice place to live in. But education wise I would go to California.

I would like to see better school systems Out of all the 51 states in the United States, Arizona ranks number 48 in the school system which is an embarrassment. This means that Arizona has a low spending and weak school system. The governor and politicians here are all talk no action! All they care about is money for themselves, and I feel that this state should have a higher education budget. If you want more educated people out there working then there has to be a higher budget in education in Arizona so that students have a higher chance of succeeding in school. It is very important for students to get new textbooks, computers, etc, things that they need to be successful in school and in life. The only thing that I liked about the education system is that it rejected common core.
Maricopa County has great schools and lets people enjoy activities like hiking, mountain biking, swimming, ect. There are also many great restaurants that are great to try. The roads are pretty good too, it is easy to get around town with a spacious highway always near by. I really like that the red mountain branch of the Mesa Public Library has huge solar panels that act as a source of alternate energy and shaded parking.

What I dislike about Maricopa County is based on the desisions of the city. I would like to preserve the local orange groves that are being torn up to build fancy neighborhoods. I think it would be a good idea to put more water conservative sprinkler heads for parks and continue to use solar power. Maybe a little less taxes being used for roads a little more being used to pay teachers.
