I enjoy living in Macomb. It's actually the only place I've ever lived. My friends and family live nearby so it makes it easy for us to get together and enjoy our community. There are many local restaurants that we enjoy such as El Charro's, Testa Barra, Aspen and Bubba's just to name a few. There is never a lack of road construction to always keep us guessing what the fastest route will be to your destination, with the least amount of detours from road closures. There is also a lot of new construction in the area which is good for my dad's drywall business. Macomb also has a wonderful recreation center where you can exercise, swim, and do many other fun activities. I've made many great memories living in Macomb County!
Macomb County covers a great amount of Michigan and is considered to be a safe and beneficial area. It holds quite an amount of cities and each one differentiates greatly from each other. Depending where you live, you will have a shopping mall within a few miles radius and supermarkets, such as Walmart or Costco everywhere you go! Besides that, the county also holds parks and recreational spaces for citizens to utilize as they please. Living in Macomb County has been beneficial for my needs and is the ideal place for surburban living.
Macomb has everything you need - unless you're looking for diversity.
Tons of shopping and convenience shops nearby. New developments popping up every day. Great parks and playgrounds surrounding the neighbourhoods
Traffic would be one area to address, and some of the older streets were not designed to accommodate 300+ house subdivisions that use to be farmland.
