The Brookhaven area is a nice place to live; it is peaceful, there's not a lot of crime, and its a nice community where you know almost everybody. Personally, I do not think there is much to do in this part pf Mississippi. I feel like this place is better for people who want to retire or couples who are looking for a safe area with good education for their children, but when it comes to finding a job or starting a new business, Brookhaven is definitely not the place to do so.

There's not a lot of crime in this small town. I feel very safe here. The police are wonderful nice people, I know most of them personally.
I love this area. Everyone knows everyone. It is peaceful compared to the big cities like Jackson or Pearl. You don't have to travel very far to your friends house. The outdoors here are just wonderful. If I could do it all over again I would still choose here.
