Lane county is a beautiful region from the coast to the cascade mountain range. Although it has many homeless people and low income communities the public appears to be working together to end homelessness and improve wages and employment opportunities. A main focus of the community is also on organic produce and recycling!

Good area to raise kids in, never had nothing to do. People that care about the community are involved in it and there are always programs around to help make like a little bit easier.
Although the allergies can be tough to bare during the shifting seasons, the county seems to be overall safe and positive.
