I have enjoyed my life in Lamar County, because of the many friends that I have made that lived around me. There are not many things to do besides the movies, a bowling alley, and a trampoline park, but I have been able to really enjoy my memories and experiences in Lamar County.

This area overall is a very calm place to live. The people are considerate and caring. The weather is nice, and for the most part, the community is clean!
It is an alright place to live compared to neighboring forrest county. The school system is also better than forrest county but that is not saying much. There is nothing in walking distance so you have to drive everywhere.
