Lake County Reviews

1 review
Lake County of Montana boasts the honor of harboring some of the most beautiful and breathtaking landscapes on earth. It is home to not only the blue majestic Mission Mountains but also to Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Most of all, the area is home to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. It is filled with a rich culture where traditional ceremonies and celebrations are held that include the Arlee and Standing Arrow Powwows. The Salish Kootenai College is also located here. It is an educational insitution which embraces traditional knowledge as well as westernized teachings to implement solutions to problems facing many societies. The food is magnificant and the recreational activites are endless.
