Great place to live and work! I have lived here for almost 22 years now, and I can't get enough, between the beautiful scenery and views to the Mississippi River. There are many things to do for fun including bike trails, hiking trails, visiting the Mississippi River, and more.

It would be better if it was more diverse, however people are genuinely kind and schools are great. Very affordable and safe as well. There are three colleges in La Crosse. Two Universities and one technical college. Beautiful bluffs and the Mississippi river!
Overall good area to live in. There is always something to do in this area and the downtown area is beautiful. Has two public high schools and 1 private high school! 1 public university, 1 private university, and 1 community college.
