Moved from Louisiana to Texas. My biggest complaint is that Property taxes are way too high in this county! They tax you on everything. Even shelters for your livestock, or anything considered an improvement(fencing). Some areas look like a third world country. Very trashy. People are friendly there and willing to lend a helping hand. Weather is comparable to Louisiana without as much humidity. No mosquitos where I live. Nice! Had to get used to the wind. Kaufman is a growing County.

Extremely friendly family, with a relatively good education system. Many towns are growing very fast which means a lot of good job and housing opportunities. It is not a long drive into Dallas, so it is a good place to commute to and from Dallas.
I love that although the county is built by small cities, I love that we come together as one big community.
