Jefferson County Reviews
My experience with Jefferson County is really great. The people are super friendly, and there is a lot of space and open areas. There is a very country lifestyle here as there are many farms. There is so much support of the local school and its teams. The only thing I wish we had more of is local restaurants. The closest thing is about 15-20 minutes away which isn't very far, but it is still an inconvenience.
This is a family friendly area. However, there are not many places to go for family fun and entertainment. I would like to see the addition of a zoo, waterpark, amusement park, ice skating, more live concerts, and additional bowling, skating and movie facilities. There are plenty of restaurants and hotels to accommodate travelers. Also, the addition of more state colleges or universities would attract more people to this area. Finally, the downtown area needs more businesses, perhaps a hospital and other medical facilities. This would a tract more restaurants and hotels to build in this area, and help revamp the city. In conclusion, I loved growing up in this area.
More retail options. Second high school needed. Public high school is way over capacity. Names determine status.lots of food options. Centrally located. Competitive paying jobs are fairly plentiful.
