Huntington County, Indiana is a nice place to raise a family. The economy is on an upward trend after several years of high unemployment rates. The new Mayor has done a great job in revamping the downtown area as well as putting in several scenic walking and bicycling paths. There are some areas that could use some work, such as the old HK Porter building, which is filled with asbestos from the production of brake shoes at the facility. But all in all it's a nice place to live.

I have lived in Huntington County for eighteen years. It is a city that is not too small or too big. I love the options that are available here for a social life, professional life, and even a higher education. I would recommend Huntington to anyone!
I have lived near Huntington my entire life and I currently attend Huntington's high school, Huntington North. I do feel as if I have received a great education and great opportunities to prepare me for my future after high school here.
