Houston County Georgia, a diverse military town, is a great place to raise a family. The school system is top notch. The town is active and competitive and gives 100% support to the school system, community and fellow neighbors. This town is also a great place to work, either on our Robins Air Force Base, which has aided in the growth of the town or with the option of starting a small business. We have a friendly town where people get out and jog, walk their pets, and cycle. You will even catch our mayor playing with his grandchildren at one of the grade school play grounds on the weekends. We have walking parks, movie theaters, many dine-in restaurants, shopping mall, boutiques, recreational sporting parks and entertainment centers. The list goes on and on to include how safe our town is with such a low crime rate.

Houston County is a great place to raise a family. The public schools are excellent. It is a medium size town with a military base so there are many diverse families. I feel that Houston County is a very safe place to live due to a low crime rate. Traffic can be heavy at times due to the military base, but its nothing compared to the traffic level in Atlanta.
Houston County has some of everything. The shops, the people, and the Air Force Base make it an interesting, diverse place to be.
