Nice to place to live for: safety, close to beach, most people are friendly, and plenty of places to shop and restaurants to dine. If you are single, there are better places to live that has more activities and nightlife.

Everyone is super close. Towns feel more like family than just friends. Any time someone is having trouble, the whole community is there to help support them. wonderful area and glad i grew up here because I will always be there to help anyone who needs it.
Houston is a great city to live, being a young professional you have such a nice variety from downtown to neighborhood like Montrose which can be quite and chill. The worst part has to be the roads are all terrible and the highways are built very inefficiently.
