I have lived in Horry County for 14 years. When I first moved from Ohio, we lived in North Myrtle Beach. We loved North Myrtle Beach, but still the time we were looking for houses and had a hard time finding our price range. We moved to Carolina Forest. Carolina Forest is centrally located to lots of great things. Our children go to Ocean Bay Elementary. It is the top elementary school within Horry County. Carolina Forest is 15 minutes away from places like Broadway at the Beach. It also takes us about 15 minutes from the beach. We love living in Horry County and Myrtle Beach is a great place to be!
Horry county's main attraction in Myrtle Beach. The nightlife is good. The beach is beautiful. There is plenty to do; amusement parks bounce houses roller rinks and bowling alleys, golfing to one's desire. There are shows like the Alabama Theatre and Medieval Times dinner Theatre and many more.
However, These things are so expensive to use. The Medieval Times cost 36.95 perform children twelve and under. The cost of the attractions in Horry County makes it difficult for families to enjoy with reasonable expectations.

Horry County has it all. Country life, bustling city, quiet downtown and Main Street, the beach, the rivers, food, attractions, nightlife - we have it all! Living in Horry County is wonderful. I am always close to my family, I love where I work, and I never get bored!
