I love Hillsborough County because of the low crime rates. Being an African in America can be scary in todays era and I'm grateful that my mother chose this area because we were't around a lot of violence growing up. A few things I would change though is the racism in the area. I wish I had more minority friends growing up. This caused a lot of stress and anxiety in my life because I was the black sheep of my friend group even though I was very similar to everyone around me. I would always try my best to fit in but was always treated differently because of the color of my skin. I'm not saying everyone in the area is like this but there are a large group of individuals that only judge people by the color of their skin. Another thing I loved about this area is the love for education. Education in my eyes is one of the most important things a person could get. I was fortunate enough to go to a brand new high school that offered courses that would help their students prepare for college.

The Hillsborough County area is vastly different from town-to-town. In my hometown of Hudson, there is a small population but there are people spread out in a large area. However, across the bridge, there is a city called Nashua, where there is a much larger population and it is also more diverse.
Hillsborough County is great for families, there are a lot of outdoor, as well as indoor activities. It is also close to the Massachusetts border, which is nice. It is also a short drive up North for sking and such, just a great location overall.
Property taxes are very high in most areas, this makes homeownership too expensive for many. Many of our public schools do need attention.
