Overall I like that it is not very overpopulated and there are a lot of parks and forests around so it's a perfect location if you are outdoorsy. There are a lot of things to do outside which I love and those involve swimming, hiking, camping, and biking. Something I would change is how we treat the environment because there is a bunch of forest and parks it gets trashed by tourists and current residents.
I love living in Hendersonville. Cute, quaint and down to earth. It is very affordable with a small town vibe. I specifically love being so close to nature. My home is a ten minute drive from a state park, which I go to frequently. We are very close to all kinds of recreation! Kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding, you name it!
Our downtown area is very cute and we have the best apple festival in the country!

Henderson county is a very nice county, with tons to do! there are four, highly competitive county schools, all with exceptional academic programs. Many people come to visit Henderson county because if the beautiful mountains, great hiking and camping places, and beautiful sunsets. Henderson county is large enough to where there are quite a few people who do not know each other, but small enough to where you will see your friends or family in a store most of the time. It is a relatively safe place, with very helpful police, fire, and emergency medical response teams. There are a lot of locally owned places to visit and It is just south of Asheville, which holds the Biltmore House. and plenty of local attractions, such as the Apple festival.
