Harrison County is great place to live. There are long luxurious beaches and beautiful waters. Fresh seafood is provided along the coast at any of a couple dozen restaurants. The people are friendly and considerate and, they are always willing to lend a hand to those who need it. I was born here in Harrison County and spent much of the childhood playing in the same neighbor hood and parks. There is a great sense of community here which can be seen in how well the area has bounced back after the tragedy of hurricane Katrina in 2005. In fact, there is almost no evidence left apparent that a disaster of that degree ever occurred here.

The low key urban setting. Is a wonderful place to retire. Have a diverse military background. Downtown is a wonderful place to sample the taste of different restaurants. You can take your beverage out of one establishment and walk the strrets of downtown enjoying the scenery. It is on the front line of the gulf coast. You can take a drive along 90 enjoying the beauty of the water and wonderful real estate. The casino business is also one of the better tourist attractions. Go play the machines, eat at one of their finer restaurants or spend a relaxing day at the pool enjoying a few cocktails.
Lots of development in the area which means it’s getting popular and provides more jobs. Many options for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
