I have lived in Harnett County since I was 12 and I have loved it as a kid. It is only 3 hours to the beach and 3 hours to the mountains. It is a quick trip to Raleigh or to Fayetteville for shopping. I think this is an amazing county for young families. It is also close to Fort Bragg and is a decent commute for soldiers.

Average county with some nice towns (i.e. Sanford and Lillington) and a few good hiking opportunities.
The edges of the country are very large which makes traveling to a voting booth a bit of a hassle when you're on a time limit.
