Hamilton County, where I've lived all of my life, has been an environment that I've watched create many great minds and even better people. Hamilton County has what one wouldn't suspect at first glance: happiness. The weather is dreadful and the roads are worse, but the people in this pocket of the world have turned Hamilton County into a community. I feel just as comfortable walking down the road to ask a complete stranger for a cup of sugar as I would if it were my own grandmother! The nightlife is incredible and the schools are premium.
I have lived in Ohio all my life. I moved to, and currently live in, Hamilton county. I am about 15 minute drive to downtown, in a small rural town. I would say our location is ideal with low crime rate and a sense of family. However, the downtown area (parts) are not only high in crime, but too scary to go to at night. I'm sure that this is true of most big cities. The cost of living is great, and the job market is climbing daily. We have multiple parks, recreation, bars and yearly super parties. We also live close to one of the largest amusement parks along with water parks. What I love most here is the ability to be a social as you want or as private as you want.
I have lived here all of my life and its still good but once the older people go it will turn into a starter neighborhood. Everything is nearby from things to have fun at, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations all within a 3-5 minute drive. You are able to walk to the high school from my house in 5 minutes which is really convenient. Most people around the neighborhood are friendly and helpful. There haven't been any bad things to happen around my neighborhood since I remember. It can be quiet but once warm weather hits all the kiddos go outside and run the neighborhood, most are respectful.
