Guilford County has been home for many years. It's very family oriented, and has grown tremendously over the years. Education is very important, however, I believe there needs to be improvement in the upkeep of the schools, boosting of morale, and focused enlightenment towards the many careers that are available to students. It would be nice to see local businesses, as well as those that are well known, work with the educational community to promote and provide well paying jobs/training.
I love living here! But sometimes I feel like there isn't a lot to do here. They are building more homes and apartment complex, but not enough entertainment for all those people that the city is trying to make room for. I don't want to have to go outside of my city just to have a good time; plus everything pretty much closes early and aren't enough places that stay open late besides some restaurants.
