I have lived in Greenwood county my entire life and I've enjoyed it so much. Although it is a small town, there is still a lot to do! Not to mention the "big city" is barely an hour away. There are just enough people to where you don't know everyone but you still know a good amount of people. Greenwood has definitely been an amazing county to live and grow up in.

I was born and raised in the quaint Southern town of Greenwood, SC. It's your stereotypical small town-- growing up, no one can wait to leave but no one ever does. In Greenwood, most everyone knows each other. We have two major highways and no interstates- though we are growing rather rapidly. Greenwood is a great place to live- very safe, and full of Southern charm!
Greenwood Woodfield Elementary is such a great school, they are always giving rewards to kids for every effort such as reading, progressing in math, they go above and beyond for our children. I actually believe Greenwood school district as a whole tries their best to ensure success in each student's lives. I wish Greenwood could put down the guns and stop shooting because this can be a great place to live.
