I was born and raised in the quaint Southern town of Greenwood, SC. It's your stereotypical small town-- growing up, no one can wait to leave but no one ever does. In Greenwood, most everyone knows each other. We have two major highways and no interstates- though we are growing rather rapidly. Greenwood is a great place to live- very safe, and full of Southern charm!

Greenwood Woodfield Elementary is such a great school, they are always giving rewards to kids for every effort such as reading, progressing in math, they go above and beyond for our children. I actually believe Greenwood school district as a whole tries their best to ensure success in each student's lives. I wish Greenwood could put down the guns and stop shooting because this can be a great place to live.
This town has always been so small with very few stores. A lot of places go out of business and the town ends up replacing them with stores we don't need. The town doesn't have any fun hangout places to go to. There are only two colleges in town and not a lot of places to work at. It takes a long time trying to find a job. The town is alright, but you have to leave town to make a living and find a good job. I wish there were more opportunities to grow in your career and more places to hangout at.
