I personally have loved living in Genesee County. I went to Genesee High School and had a graduating class of 50 students. I really enjoyed that because you knew everybody around the school. It was also easy to build a relationship with the staff, because most of the faculty seems to really care about the wellbeing of the students. Genesee County has a fair amount of job opportunities and what we lack, is able to be found in other bordering counties. I have a 40 minute commute to work in Saginaw County, which I do not find to be too bad of a drive.

I love my home town. Michigan is the best place for me and I would love to live here for the rest of my live. I’m not say I will stay here for ever, Genesee will always hold the title “home” for me. There are a lot of things to do here, and despite the economy issues, people are friendly and open.
My atmosphere is okay, I feel more safe by moving into this area than in the area I was in before. The ability to associate with neighbors and kids in the neighborhood is a good feeling. Back where I used to be it wasn't like that at all. Everybody just stayed to their selves but, don't get me wrong we did have our few neighbors that we held conversation with but, now its better. If I could do it all over again yes, I would most definitely choose here to be. We've been here for two years and I love it! In the future I see the area staying the same.
