Fresno has been a relatively good place to grow up. There are plenty of job opportunities here, such as entry-level jobs, management, and even entrepreneurial opportunities. The cost of living is about average compared to the surrounding counties but still very much doable.

The one thing that Fresno is not short of is eateries. There are plenty of places where one could go to eat, whether it would be a quick lunch from a fast-food chain or a small restaurant to the steak houses available around the county.

But overall, Fresno is not a wrong choice to settle down in. Since it is almost in the center of California, it is practically equal travel going to Sacramento to Los Angeles, It is about a two-hour drive to the coast, and Yosemite National Park is not too far from here.

I was born and raised in the Fresno County and I have lived here my whole life. If someone were to ask me if I enjoy living here I wouldn’t hesitate to reply with “Yes! I love it here!” I am aware that other people my age are trying to do the best they can to leave Fresno after school but I find that staying here wouldn’t be too bad. There is so much to do and to experience here and I take advantage of living somewhere that I can be able to have that access to traveling to some great places that are so close like Yosemite National Park. I admire the beautiful neighborhoods lined up with a variety of differently built houses as I ride my bike through them. I appreciate how diverse we truly are just by taking a look around my high school and how amazing it is that we can still join together despite our differences. Though I would like to see the safety of this county change into a better place to be able to enjoy all these things more freely I still will always love living here.
Fresno has always been a great place to live. I grew up here an pretty much have been living here all my life. I had great experiences going to school here. I started school and finish the nursing program here in Fresno. Fresno has great educational programs and have great opportunities to advance. I am a first generation college graduate working on my RN to BSN program. I graduated at Fresno city college and pursuing my bsn degree to advance my career and give my family a better life. Fresno is the place to live for me! My children will be raised here.
