Franklin County Reviews

Moved from Chittenden County to Franklin County and couldn't be happier with the decision. Got a lakefront house for the price of a condo in South Burlington, and pay about 60% of what I used to in taxes (despite being taxed for lakefront footage). The schools are comparable to what you'd get from most of the districts in Chittenden County, and cost a fraction of the price. Restaurants and nightlife are limited, but there are far more outdoor opportunities available here than one county south.
