Fayette County is a very quiet place compared to the city. Every road you drive down is accompanied by a beautiful view. The schools here are pretty good and the community shows a lot of support for them. However, the food is even better! There are a ton of little local places that serve some of the best food you will ever have! The neighbors always male sure to wave and say hi as they pass. Overall all this County is a great place!
My first thought moving to the Atlanta was that I wanted to live North of Atlanta (based upon my own research)...and man was I wrong...and man I am glad that I chose Fayetteville over my first choice Marietta. Small city/town family oriented feel. Great schools, beautiful homes, and close to the airport. The drive to get downtown is actually not as far as initially thought, but I appreciate living a little distance from 85/75. There's some new development coming to the area in Pinewood Forest and a new downtown area. I can see some development happening around me but as long as they keep the Marta and apartments out of this area...life would be great.
It's great. I've lived in Fayetteville for five years now, and I absolutely love it! The roads are clean and easy accessible to many shopping centers in the area.
