eagle county is a very family friendly town where everyone knows each other. I have been fortunate enough to live here almost my whole life. Just 30 minutes from vail resorts, this county is great for every outdoorsman who thrives in the mountains and loves to go skiing every chance they get. Eagle is a great place for safety for kids to grow up. There is of course a down side to the county too. That is that Eagle is more or less in the middle of nothing. There are no shopping centers or amusement parks to go to, although our amusement parks are the vast mountain ranges. This small con is made up when you can go to bed every night looking up at the glistening stars and wake up to the orange res sun rise every day with a cup of coffee in your hands. I could not ask for a more beautiful place to live in and grow up in.
Eagle County is a very diverse culture with many attributes and cultures not provided in many places. Our education systems are very nice and my children love going to school. Learning how to live healthier out here is very influential in how my children are being raised compared to that of Kansas. Unfortunately, the downfall is the housing market and how expensive it is to live here. Many parents have to work two to three jobs just to survive. We have a very beautiful community with many smiling friendly faces. With the opportunities given here in Eagle County there can only be growth as a community and new ways to adapt and to learn to better our future as a strong and amazing place.
