I used to blame Currituck For why my sons father passed away , but it's not Currituck and I am doing something about it to help I'm going to college to become a substance and drug abuse counselor . Currituck to me is family businesses that have been here for generations and people love to support , the beautiful drive , the dirt roads, raising your children not on electronics but have amazing imaginations, and the feeling of being safe. If I can do anything to help this epidemic than my son and everyone else can stand a chance to go so far in life without falling into this problem. I know no matter where you go in life there will be drugs and this problem but this community has never been like this , and I love my hometown .most importantly be proud of me for what life threw at me .I want him to grow up in a great community who instead of judges they all reached out to me , and let me know how proud they are for being a 25 year old mother doing something about this problem.
