I have lived in Clayton County for 17 years and I would say that is a decent neighborhood. The overall cost of living in this area is pretty low. Although there isn't a lot to do, more restaurants and shopping areas are starting to get built here. There are some mild safety concerns because it is a low-income area. It isn’t far from Atlanta, about a 25-minute drive, which is convenient. There is also transient that can take you straight to Atlanta from here. Clayton State University is a good university with great programs such as nursing and dental hygiene. This county really isn’t a bad place to live and its only getting better over time.

My experience in Clayton County, overall, has been ok. I think that some changes could be made to make Clayton County more attractive, therefore, more attractions and entertainment should be built, for kids and families, closer to home to prevent a further commute to another county or city. Most of the stores, restaurants, etc have been updated to a more modern style. There not a lot of accidents, nor crimes. Mostly all the public schools are in close proximity to eachother and to neighborhoods. There is not really any "nightlife" spots to go to. Overall, Clayton County , in my opinion, is good for people who do not like to get out of the house often and for people who likes the ability to go to any store that is approxiamately five minutes away from the neighborhood, due to many shopping plazas, however these shopping plazas have little variety.
I love how the community of Clayton County treat foreigners. Some people I have met are friendly and easy to get along with. Stores and restaurants are nearby so you don’t have to sit in your car for hours before you get foodstuffs or something to eat. I don’t like some of the school system and roads. Some of the school of Clayton County need sponsors to help improve the school environmentally and academically. All in all Clayton County is not a bad place to live. Because so far I have not experienced any misfortunes .
